Experience the freedom of natural movement for your horses with our Movement Pasture Track. Designed with their well-being in mind. With varied terrain, ample grazing, and access to shelter, promoting physical health, mental stimulation, and socialization.
My three older mares live on Flag Is Up Farms’. If you don’t know what that is, picture that the pasture grass is fenced in and encircled by a dirt track of varying widths that stretches around the entire perimeter. The 28-year-old Quarter horse has pretty crippling ringbone, that was actually mighty crippling before she lived here. The track’s genius is that it encourages her to move. All three girls move. They are happier than I have ever seen them. By a long shot. They love living in the freedom of the outdoors. They love their herd. They love their home. And their happiness contributes exponentially to my own happiness. What a joy!

California Horse Center on Flag Is Up is a great place to board, ride and learn with your horse(s). The owners and their staff are always personable, professional, attentive and responsive. The facilities are first rate and include multiple boarding options and arenas (one covered), exercise track, trails course and lots of riding trails, as well as lots of opportunities for education. There’s something for everyone here. It’s truly a community for horse lovers.
